Become a Certified Nursing Assistant!

East Side Neighborhood Services is beginning our FREE Nursing Assistant+ Class on October 21, 2019! Participants will complete courses at Minneapolis College and East Side Neighborhood Services over 11 weeks. Classes are 4 days a week from 9am—3:30pm.

If you are interested in applying you must attend an information session. Dates for the information sessions:

• Tuesday, September 24, 1 – 3 PM

• Thursday, September 26, 9:30 – 11:30 PM

• Monday, September 30, 1- 3

• Tuesday, October 1, 9:30 – 11:30 AM

*You will be asked to complete the TABE reading and math test when you come to apply, which usually takes about an hour to complete.

Eligibility Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED

• 8th Grade Reading and Math Level

• Able to fully commit your time for 11 weeks

• Ability to pass a background check

• Able to work in the United States

• Can handle the sight of blood and bodily fluids

• Have good time management

• A passion to help others!
