Family Healing Program

About Family Healing

The Family Healing Program envisions a community that is free of violence. We hope to lead the initiative towards personal changes in the attitude and behaviors of people who use violence. This will help change societal structures that support abusive behaviors and permanently eliminate violence.

Family Healing offers person centered, trauma-informed healing services for people who have been identified as using abusive behaviors within their home or community setting. Our psycho-educational groups work to stop domestic violence as it occurs, and to prevent it from happening in the future.

The Family Healing Program adheres to and complies with MN State Statute 518B.02. Our program requires 36 hours of attendance for completion, fulfilled in 18 weekly group sessions. All programming is currently virtual, requiring Zoom and camera-capable devices. Services are offered to those in need, subject to program capacity. Referrals are required. If you are a Probation Officer, Child Protection Worker, or other professional seeking to refer a client to our services, please see the Referral section below. Please do NOT call the East Side front desk or general line. Instead, contact our program directly with the instructions below.

  • Men’s Orientation is offered via Zoom on Mondays at 5pm and Thursdays at 12pm. Appointments are required.

Instructions for Referral

The Family Healing Program operates on a rolling basis, accepting new clients when space becomes available in a group. Due to high interest in programming, our groups often have a waiting list. If you are wondering about the enrollment timeline, please reach out to FHPorientation@esns.org for an update on our current availability.

We request that all new client inquiries be sent via email. Probation Officers, Child Protection Workers, and other referring partners should send separate emails for each client to FHPOrientation@esns.org.

Please cc your client on the referring email. This helps us keep everyone involved in the orientation process and provides the most efficient process for enrollment.

Please include the following information in referral emails:

  • Client Full Name

  • Client Phone Number

  • Client Email Address

  • Client DOB

  • Whether client needs Men’s or Women’s services

Any questions can be directed to FHPOrientation@esns.org or Nora at 612.643.1168. Please do not contact the ESNS front desk or general line with questions about our program.
